The Genesis Illumination Project is a nonprofit organization based in East Chicago, Indiana, committed to revitalizing our community through creativity, service, and sustainability. Our mission is to transform historic and underused properties into purpose-driven spaces that uplift, educate, and unite.
We provide programs that support workforce readiness, youth enrichment, business development, and artistic expression—ensuring that every individual has access to tools for growth and success.

Youth Enrichment
Empowering the next generation through mentorship, STEM/arts programs, leadership workshops, and summer camps.
Workforce & Trade Development
Providing job readiness training, resume workshops, and certifications in cosmetology, media, and digital skills.
